The city’s public works commissioner will leave at the end of this month, ending two decades of employment with the City of Kingston.
Mark Segsworth announced earlier today that he will resign from his post at the end of the month, something he has contemplated doing for some time.
“This has not been a hasty decision,” Segsworth said. “It’s been a lot of thinking that’s gone into this.”
Segsworth said he wanted to retire from his post to spend more time with his children, both of whom are in high school and will soon graduate, and family.
